Galeria lets guests share photos from an event with the hosts and other guests, and lets organisers request early access to run their own event. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Google sign-in: your name, email address and Google account ID. We do not get your password, contacts or any other Google data.
- Name + PIN sign-in: the display name you choose and a one-way hash of your PIN.
- Photos you upload: resized copies of each photo and the date it was taken. Other camera data (including GPS location) is removed in your browser before upload.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and a language cookie.
- Early-access requests (the form on our home page): your name, email, WhatsApp number if you give one, your event type, date and expected guest count, and any message. To block spam we also store a one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself.
How it is used
Only to run the event gallery: to show your photos to the hosts and guests of the event, to let you manage your own photos, and to let hosts moderate. Early-access details are used only to review your request and contact you about Galeria. We do not sell data, show ads or use tracking or analytics cookies.
Who can see your photos
The event hosts, and depending on the host's setting, either signed-in guests of that event or anyone with the event link. Your first name is shown with each photo. Anyone who can view a photo can download it.
Where data is stored
On Cloudflare (Workers, D1 database and R2 storage), which may process data outside Malaysia. Our home page loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you open it.
How long we keep it
Event photos are kept for a limited time and then deleted for good: normally 15 days after the event date, and never more than 30 days after uploads close. Download any photos you want to keep before then. Hosts can delete photos sooner. Early-access requests are kept until your event has taken place or you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can delete any of your photos at any time from “My photos”. To delete your account, or for any question, contact the event host or email us. To delete an early-access request, reply to our email or WhatsApp message and ask.
